When it comes with food, Macau people are always enthusiastic about it, especially when during the supper moment. There are some restaurants always crowd with people. The one that I am going to recommend today is not a fancy restaurant, however it is very popular among the local community – 一哥美食, it literally translated as “Number One Brother Food”.This restaurant does not serve any fancy dishes, but it serves variety of local foods.

The restaurant is always packed with people waiting to be arranged the seats or waiting for takeaway orders

This tiny kitchen is where foods are made.

This “machine” cooks rice noodle rolls, however, you may expect to wait for long time because it cannot take many orders at the same time.

Inside of the restaurant is not big and packed with tables and people. The environment is clean overall.

Minced meatball porridge

They use dried scallops to make the porridge, it’s sweet. You can choose different ingredients for the porridge, e.g. crabs, meatball, pork livers, pork intestine, fish, beef e.t.c. The most popular is the crab porridge, however I didn’t try it this time.

Chow Mein

The color of the food can really arose your appetite. The color and the smell of Chow Mein are so attractive, probably the chef put many soy sauce when making it.
